Growing up, Kelly Clarkson learned the importance of charity—from both sides. “Giving back was always something we did because we were given to a lot,” she shares. A mom of two, the importance of compassion and kindness is a value she is working hard to pass on to her children. As she points out, “there’s a lot of love in the world and a lot of kindness,” her hope is that everyone—including her children—focus on this, rather than the negative side of things.
