When WE Charity first began, our goal was to free children from child labor by empowering them with education: one of the most powerful means of creating a brighter future. In these early days, our focus was on renovating and building schools, and supporting education infrastructure in communities around the world.

Over time and through these partnerships, we learned a lot about what a community needs to be successful in sending its children to school and in supporting them to succeed—lessons we applied as we developed our holistic five-pillar development model. Below are just some examples of education projects from WE Charity’s early history.
