New York— July 1, 2024 — After more than 30 years of growth, global charity WE Movement will soon become My Legacy – a consumer-facing lifestyle brand that builds community and connections.
In the same way that WE was a movement that brought people together and gave them the tools to change the world, My Legacy is about having a real impact – building community and offering ways to help individuals be their best selves, live their best lives and live a life larger than themselves.
“We’ll always continue to evolve and innovate, fueled by dreams of millions of passionate changemakers. As we look to the future, now is the time to elevate our mission to My Legacy,” said Craig Kielburger. “Our evolution is about leading the way in creating meaningful, lasting change. With a 30-year track record of purpose-led transformations, we are dedicated to bringing purpose to life for individuals, companies and foundations. Our efforts remain impactful and relevant, forging real movements and legacy projects that resonate deeply and drive tangible, positive outcomes for generations to come.”
Watch for the launch of the My Legacy website, resources and social feeds soon.
Founded by Craig and Marc Kielburger, WE was a movement that brought people together and gave them the tools to change the world. A unique family of organizations, WE was made up of two divisions: WE Charity and ME to WE. WE Charity was the charitable division that empowered change with resources that created sustainable impact through the charity’s domestic programming – like WE Schools and internationally through the sustainable development model, WE Villages. ME to WE, meanwhile, was an enterprise that created socially conscious products and experiences that allowed people to do good through their everyday choices.
