We lost our voices cheering, our cheeks hurt from smiling and our feet are sore from dancing—London, you were amazing!

Empowered youth from across London flocked to WE Day UK today to hear inspiring speeches and witness moving performances, all to mark the incredible change they’ve helped to create over the past year. Whether fighting to combat the stigma surrounding periods, creatively promoting literacy or turning special needs into employable skills, the teachers and students in the audience of The SSE Arena have been working hard to create the world they want to live in.

We can’t wait to see what actions they’ll take in time for next year’s show! Will they pick up a new WE Schools campaign? Fundraise for a ME to WE Trip? With encouragement from the likes of Idris Elba, Leona Lewis and the only female Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Gwendoline Christie, there’s no stopping them!
